Dr. Avraham Cohen graduated with distinction from Cornell University, where he was a member of the Phi Betta Kappa honor society. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine and graduated as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. Dr. Cohen completed his ophthalmology residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York City, and served as Chief Resident and Glaucoma Fellow the following year. He was also an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of Glaucoma Services while at Mt. Sinai.

Dr. Cohen specializes in the management and treatment of glaucoma. Many of his patients have received had excellent outcomes with Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), a relatively new laser treatment for open-angle glaucoma.  Dr.  Cohen also is a cataract surgeon, utilizing the latest advances in technology and intraocular lenses to insure patients' best vision.

Dr. Cohen and his wife Dawn live in Cherry Hill, NJ and are the proud parents of a baby daughter.
