Dr. Cathy Colt is a graduate of the prestigious Harvard Medical School. Following a three-year general ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital, Dr. Colt completed two years of specialty training in vitreo-retinal disorders at Retina Associates of Boston and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Colt is a participating lecturer at the Diabetes Program sponsored by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She was among the first ophthalmologists in the Delaware Valley to offer laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Colt dedicates a major part of her practice to managing and treating Age Related Macular Degeneration, and has seen excellent results with the latest injectible medications.
Dr. Colt and her husband Dr. Roger Pomerantz, a physician and pharmaceutical research executive, live in Chalfont. Their son is following the family tradition by studying medicine.
